River Rock Apiaries Ltd. located at Warpsite, Alberta is seeking applicants for Apiary Worker (four positions).  The positions are available on a seasonal and full-time basis (45+ hours/week), running from March 15-October 2014 wage $12.63/hr.    Duties include handling, feeding and caring for honey colonies, assisting in the production of  nucs and/or replacement hives, diagnose and treat hive health issues, moving hives, collecting/extracting honey as well as bee yard maintenance and the manufacture, assembly and maintenance of hive equipment.  Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, be able to work in a team environment and have a minimum of one year experience in a Canadian style commercial apiary.
